Iron Distance Control

Dial in specific yardages with your 7-iron to develop distance awareness and partial swing control.

Protocol

  1. Set up a launch monitor or pick range targets at 130, 140, and 150 yards.
  2. Hit 5 balls targeting 130 yards — note carry distance.
  3. Hit 5 balls targeting 140 yards.
  4. Hit 5 balls targeting 150 yards.
  5. Record average carry for each target and how many landed within 5 yards of target.
