Progressive Phase System
Every drill has 4 phase targets that scale with your skill level. As you improve, the targets get harder — keeping your practice challenging and measurable over a 24-month journey.
Phase 1 — Foundation
Learn each drill's protocol. Focus on form and consistency. Targets are achievable to build confidence and establish a practice routine.
Phase 2 — Development
Tighter targets demand better execution. You start identifying weaknesses in your data and focusing practice time where it matters most.
Phase 3 — Competition
Targets approach competitive-level performance. Pressure drills become critical. Your practice sessions mirror on-course demands.
Phase 4 — Elite
The highest targets — matching what low-scratch and mini-tour players achieve. Maintaining this level requires relentless precision.
Practice Every Part of Your Game
48 systematically designed practice modules covering every aspect of your golf game
Range Warm-Up
Progressive warm-up starting with short clubs and working up to driver. Builds tempo and loosens muscles safely.
Short Game Warm-Up
Warm up chipping and pitching touch before practice or a round. Focuses on feel and contact quality.
Putting Green Warm-Up
Calibrate speed and stroke on the practice green. Mix of lag putts for speed feel and short putts for confidence.
Pre-Practice Mechanics Check
5-point fundamentals checklist to verify before hitting balls. Catching setup errors early prevents ingraining bad habits.
Driver Dispersion Test
Measure your true fairway hit rate with 14 simulated tee shots. This is your driving benchmark number.
Driver Distance Ladder
Learn to control driver distance by swinging at different effort levels. Builds awareness of carry vs. effort relationship.
Shot Shape Control
Develop the ability to hit draws and fades on command. Essential for course management and playing in wind.
Fairway Finder Pressure
Simulate on-course tee shots with specific fairway targets and hazards. Builds pressure-handling for the first swing of each hole.
Driver Tempo Drill
Focus purely on swing tempo at reduced effort. A smooth 70% swing often produces better results than an aggressive 100% swing.
Trouble Recovery
Practice specialty shots off the tee: punch shots, low hooks, high fades. When the course demands creativity, be ready.
Iron Accuracy Test
Benchmark your iron accuracy by hitting at 3 different targets. Measures proximity to target and consistency.
Iron Distance Control
Dial in specific yardages with your 7-iron to develop distance awareness and partial swing control.
Iron Flight Control
Practice hitting three different trajectories with a mid-iron. Trajectory control is essential for wind play and pin positions.
GIR Simulation
Simulate approach shots to greens of varying sizes. Builds the GIR skill that most correlates with scoring.
Wedge Distance Ladder
Map your wedge distances from 40-110 yards. Knowing exact carry numbers eliminates guesswork in the scoring zone.
Wedge Touch Shots
Develop soft touch with partial wedge shots. Score proximity to targets at 3 different partial distances.
Wedge Trajectory
Control wedge trajectory for different conditions: low spinners into wind, normal stock shots, and high soft landers for tucked pins.
Clock System Drill
Master the clock system: 9-to-3, 10-to-2, and 11-to-1 swing lengths with three wedges. Gives you 9 precise distances.
Basic Chip Test
Benchmark your chipping from three different lies. Up-and-down rate from around the green is the key short game metric.
Chip Landing Zone
Train your ability to land chips on a specific spot. Landing zone control is the foundation of chipping — the ball does the rest.
Pitch Shot Ladder
Build a reliable distance ladder for pitch shots from 10-50 yards. This is where most amateurs lose strokes.
Flop Shot Practice
Practice the high, soft flop shot for situations where you must carry an obstacle and stop quickly.
Bump and Run
The bump-and-run is the highest-percentage short game shot. Low risk, high consistency, works on firm or fast greens.
Up-and-Down Challenge
Simulate on-course scrambling. Random lies, one chance each, chip and putt out. This is the real test of short game under pressure.
Phil's Short Game Test
Inspired by Phil Mickelson's short game philosophy. 10 creative shots around the green scored on a 1-3 point scale for quality.
Scramble Drill
Simulate missed greens on the course. Play out each situation to holing the putt. Builds the complete save sequence.
Scoring Zone Feel
Free-form creative practice around the green. Focus on feel, visualization, and confidence rather than technical perfection.
Basic Bunker Test
Benchmark your greenside bunker play. Getting out and on the green consistently is the first goal; proximity comes next.
Bunker Distance Control
Move beyond "just getting out" to controlling distance from the sand. Score to short, medium, and long pin positions.
Fairway Bunker
Fairway bunker shots require clean ball-first contact with limited lower body movement. A different skill from greenside bunkers.
Gate Drill
Set tees as a gate slightly wider than your putter head at 3 feet. Putt through the gate to groove a straight stroke path.
Straight Putt Trainer
Isolate your stroke on straight putts at 3 distances. Eliminates break-reading from the equation — pure stroke quality test.
Lag Putt Test
Measure your lag putting ability at long distances. Leaving putts within 3 feet eliminates three-putts.
Speed Ladder
Progressive speed challenge: each putt must go past the previous one without going off the green. Tests incremental speed control.
The 48-Putt Drill
Gold standard short putt evaluation. Quantifies make rate by direction and distance.
3-Foot Circle
Place 10 balls in a circle around the hole at 3 feet. Make them all to build confidence on the putts you must make.
4-6 Foot Confidence
The 4-6 foot range is where scoring putts are made. Build a dependable make rate at this critical distance.
Clutch Putting
Must make 5 in a row from increasing distances: 3ft, 4ft, 5ft. Miss one and you restart. Builds pressure tolerance.
Break Read Test
Test your ability to read break on 6 different breaking putts. Three attempts each to dial in the read.
AimPoint Practice
Practice the AimPoint read method: feel the slope with your feet, determine break with fingers, then verify with a putt.
21 Putts
Classic scoring game: putt from various distances and score points. Make = 2pts, within 2ft = 1pt, miss = 0. Race to 21 points.
Last Putt Wins
Simulate on-course pressure by putting one ball from 3-8 feet. No second chances — just like on the course, you get one putt.
Par 18 Putting
Play 18 "holes" on the putting green. Each hole: lag putt then finish out. Par is 2 for each hole. Track your score vs. par 36.
Full Skills Assessment
Comprehensive skills assessment covering all major areas: driving, approach, short game, and putting. Use monthly to track progress.
Putting Benchmark
Combined putting evaluation: the 48-putt drill for short putts plus lag putt test for speed control. Your putting report card.
Short Game Benchmark
Evaluate your complete short game with 20 varied shots scored 0-3. Covers chips, pitches, bunker, and specialty shots.
Pre-Shot Routine Timer
Time your pre-shot routine for consistency. Tour players are remarkably consistent in their routine timing — you should be too.
Visualization Practice
Visualize each shot in detail before executing. Rate how closely the result matches your visualization. Builds the mind-body connection.
