- Check grip: neutral position, pressure 4/10, connection between hands.
- Check alignment: place alignment stick on ground, verify feet/hips/shoulders parallel to target.
- Check posture: bend from hips, slight knee flex, arms hanging naturally.
- Check ball position: verify position relative to stance for intended club.
- Check tempo: make 3 slow-motion swings, feel 3:1 backswing-to-downswing ratio.
